Eligibility for ACCA in India
- After 10th Standard: You can start through the Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) route.
- After 12th Standard: You can directly enroll in the main ACCA papers. You should ideally have 65% in Mathematics/Accounts and English, and 50% in other subjects.
- Graduates (B.Com/BAF): Eligible for up to 4 to 5 paper exemptions.
Exemptions & Papers
ACCA consists of 13 papers in total across Applied Knowledge, Applied Skills, and Strategic Professional modules. Depending on your background, you may receive direct exemptions from the initial papers. For example, commerce graduates receive 4 exemptions, while qualified Chartered Accountants receive 9 exemptions, leaving only 4 papers to write!
